If you’ve visited Two Crows Crochet in the past month, you’ll notice a change today. My shop is missing.
Over the past couple of days, I’ve been evaluating 2025 and considering what I want for this year. I have, in all honesty, been trying to do everything. Makes for market, crochet tutorials, blankets to sell, and an attempt to branch out into resin craft. Far too many plates to spin, especially in a year that saw my dad pass away and my mum move into a care home.
I’ve determined that 2026 will be a calmer, quieter year. I’ve moved the shop from my website to Folksy, because I want to focus on making and designing. I feel a lot less pressure to stock my Folksy shop. It can just be there, ticking over in the background while I get to enjoying crochet again.
I also want to push the tutoring side of TCC more. I’m not sure if I’ll keep the tutorials here yet – there are so many blogs and vlogs covering learning crochet that, perhaps, another is redundant. And there’s the small matter of not really having anywhere at home suitable for recording video. So that’s on a back burner.
Meanwhile, I’m going to get the New Year over and a couple of medical things out of the way, then turn my attention to designing. Stay tuned!
