Finished for Friday, yay! I joined in with Betty’s Star September challenge and crocheted my first 6 Day Kid Blanket.
I really love this pattern. Once you get past the set up rounds, it’s so easy and you get into a nice rhythm. I’m looking forward to doing Betty’s other versions. Mindless crochet is fun!
The yarn is two Aldi cakes in, I think, chunky weight. Though it felt more like somewhere between Aran and chunky. It also didn’t feel very nice in my hands – quite stiff and a bit scratchy – but it was fine once it was washed.
That said, I’ll use better yarn next time.
